It's your lucky day!!!

Indeed it is friends! I am granting you all access to view my latest illustration for the novel 'Velvet Revolution'. I just finished this in photoshop and must say i feel a bit over it now. Hope you like and feel free to leave any comments :)

New Blog update!!! WOHOO, FINALLYYYY!!!

Hi again everyone!
I,m putting up my previous illustration assigment to feed you guys with some
visuals of mine. The illustrations was for a fictional scene, "Trauma", where a business man with gambling- debt previously had shot and escasped from the guys he owed money. He crashed and he's caught by the police with a woman pinning him down with a helicopter circling above.

I used photoshop for the whole thing, and i'm pretty much aiming at doing that for the rest of the semester to practice up my digital drawing skills. The illustration is pretty amateur and lack some textures and finer details, but i tell myself it's a work with a skill that eventually will get to a satisfactory (or at least competitive) level :)

More to come people! Stay tuned...

Update! Update! Update! :D

Second assignment in Design Image techniques!
Purely illustrator. Please leave feedback, people!

Reference

Version 1
One colour: allowed to use tints and gradients

(Not happy about the gradients at the bottom of the mouse buttons.
The line is not smooth overlap. Will fix that.)

Version 2
4 colour. Colours only

(Still not entirely happy about the way this looks. Gonna see
if there is something i can do about the areas of shadow and highlight.)

Version 3
Full colour. As similar as possible

Pretty satisfied about this one though. Maybe the colours are a bit brown?)

First design image techniques assignment

This is our first assignment. Rendering given shapes with colour, shadow and light. All shapes have a single light source. This is done in illustrator CS4. The transformation to JPEG wasn't good though. It looks better in illustrator. Anyways, enjoy!!! :)
